The news came a week after a drug dubbed Viagra became the first to be approved for sale in the United States in less than two months.

It’s a new strategy that will enable the drug to be used by millions of men around the world.
“Our research has shown that Viagra can increase blood flow and oxygen throughout the body,” said Dr. Michael Pearson, an analyst at New York University’s Stern School of Business. “We’re going to look at the potential impact of Viagra in the body, and what that could mean for men,” he said.
